Law enforcers detained 45 Rohingya men from a house in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram in the wee hours of today.

Further details about the detainees could not be known yet, our Chattogram correspondent reports quoting Shamim Sheikh, inspector (investigation) of Sitakunda Model Police Station.

Acting on secret information, law enforcers conducted a raid at Keshabpur Mollahpara village in Shonaichuri area around the midnight, the official said.

The 45 Rohingya men were detained from the house of one Mobarok Hossain during the raid, Shamim Sheikh said.

They came to this house at different times, the official said adding that they cannot speak Bangla properly.

The Rohingya men were taken to the police station.
