Shwapno retail outlets feature U.S. food and beverage products in ‘Taste of America’ promotion
Today, Ambassador Earl Miller and ACI Group Managing Director Dr Arif Dowla launched the "Taste of America" promotion in ten Shwapno retail outlets throughout Bangladesh. The promotion will highlight U.S. products by featuring them on an "American Shelf" strategically placed in various retail outlets in Dhaka and Sylhet. The goal of the promotion is to provide consumers in Bangladesh with greater access to a variety of U.S. food and beverage products, including canola oil, dried fruits, nuts, cereals, chocolates, and much more. In total, over 100 products from the United States will be featured.
During the launch event at a Shwapno outlet in Gulshan-1, Ambassador Miller said, "I am excited to see U.S. products become increasingly available in Bangladesh and am confident consumers will find U.S. food items to be flavorful and of the best quality." ACI Group Managing Director, Dr Arif Dowla, was also at the launch event and said, "Shwapno retail outlets were established in 2008 and since then we have grown to more than 175 outlets. In 2016-2020, Shwapno was recognized as the Best Retail Brand in Bangladesh, which is a great honour for our company. We focus on quality and we are determined to bring value to Bangladesh's consumers. We know U.S. products are high-quality, so we are happy to feature U.S. products in our stores."
