Online film week, promoting new normal in the Italian Film Industry

International Academy of Film & Media is announcing the IV Edition of Fare CINEMA, starting from 14 June to 20 June 2021. It is a thematic film week aiming at promoting the Italian film industry in the present New Normal world. This film week is organised by the Italian Embassy, Dhaka in association with the International Academy of Film and Media (IAFM).

 

In this film week, they will screen 26 contemporary Italian movies under the category of feature fiction, documentary, new narration shorts, interview & experimental through two online platforms – Italiana (https://vimeo.com/italianaesteri) & MYmovies (https://www.mymovies.it/ondemand/iic/). The audience will get free access by free registration in both sites from 14 to 20 June 2021 only.

                                                                              

Also, there are three educational sessions with noted film professionals- 'Master Class on Contemporary Italian Cinema in Post COVID' with Italian film professional Mr Giovanni Rabbiano, two lecture sessions on 'Art of Italian Cinema: Text' & 'Context and Italian Master Film Makers' with Prof. Sanjoy Mukhopadhyay from India. All these sessions as well as the films are open for all with free registration.

 

The event will be inaugurated by HE Mr Enrico Nunziata, Honorable Ambassador, Italian Embassy, Dhaka & Mr Bibesh Roy, Executive Director, IAFM Bangladesh on 14 June 2021 at 4 PM. Media partners of this event are – noted European Cinema Portal CINEUROPA, famous radio channel Dhakafm & The Daily Jagaran.

 

International Academy of Film and Media is a non-profit organisation and an educational wing of its mother concern; the Media Foundation. It's registered under the Joint Stock Company of Bangladesh and also certified by the Bangladesh Film Censor Board. Since 24 June 2006, the academy has been conducting various kinds of academic activities on media, TV & cinema.
