Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, who is currently admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka, is likely to fly to Singapore for better treatment, party sources said today.
Talking to The Daily Star, JP Presidium Member SM Foisal Chisty said, “He might leave for Singapore on November 28- the last date of filing nomination papers”.
The JP chairman was admitted to CMH this morning as he fell sick, his press secretary Sunil Shuvo Roy said.
He said Ershad has been suffering from serious pain in his knees and some other complications.
The JP chief on November 16 went to the CMH for “check-up” and was released two days later.
