A BNP delegation will meet Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal tomorrow over medical treatment of its imprisoned Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The meeting has been scheduled for 2:30pm, Syrul Kabir Khan, a staff of Khaleda Zia’s media wing told The Daily Star this evening.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be leading the delegation.
In September last year, BNP met the home minister on the same issue.
During hearing on Niko graft case yesterday, Khaleda Zia told Fakhrul that she is very ill and being deprived of proper treatment in the jail.
Khaleda Zia landed in jail back in February after conviction in Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case, where she was handed a five-year jail term.
Later, she was also convicted in Zia Charitable Trust graft case and handed a seven-year term.
