-    Muktibahini fighters attack Pakistan settlements in the Kamalpur frontier of Mymensingh and seize huge arms and ammunition.
-    Pakistan military attack from the air on Muktibahini settlements in Mandabhag, Mangalpur and Sreepur under sector 8. After almost three-hours of fighting, Pakistan sustain 58 casualties. Two freedom fighters embrace martyrdom and nine others are wounded.
-    A team of fighters attack Pakistan military base in Shahbajpur in Sylhet killing three Razakars and injuring eight others.
-    A platoon of Muktibahini fighters attack Pakistan militia on Sarigowain road under sector 5, killing five Razakars. Others flee.
-    A Muktibahini team attack Razakars in Fulbaria Police Station. 30 Razakars are killed and 25 others are wounded.
-    Pakistani envoy in Nepal embassy Mostafizur Rahman announces his support for Bangladesh.
-    Kustia and Dinajpur district administrators Md Shamsul Haque and Farashuddin are ousted from civil service after they announce their support for Bangladesh.
-    A Times report says the war would intensify. 80,000 Pakistani army men are spreading to Indian borders and 60,000 Muktibahini guerillas are prepared for confrontation.
