One arrested for collecting toll

The Special Branch of police yesterday arrested a young man for allegedly collecting toll by posing as the son of the Prime Minister.

The arrested person was identified as Khandaker Tanveer Islam alias Joy, son

Khadaker Nazrul Islam.

Khalilu Rahman, ASP of SB raided a house at Mohammadia Housing at

Mohammadpur in the city and nabbed Joy. Police said he collected toll from industrial units at the Export Processing Zone and Porjatan Restaurant at Saver.

He was sent to Mohammadpur thana. He will be produced in court

today, police said.
