Petition seeks HC directive on half fare for students

A petition has been filed with the High Court seeking its directive on the government on half bus, launch, and train fares for students. Supreme Court lawyer Md Eunus Ali Akond submitted the petition yesterday.

He said Covid has reduced income of students' guardians over the last two years. In this situation, bus fares have been doubled and therefore, students are waging a movement.
