Limelight shines bright for Mou
Sadia Islam Mou entered modeling at a time when the industry was relatively new. Despite reigning for around two decades and amidst the wave of new faces in such a hyper-competitive industry, Mou still possesses the vibrancy to bring it all to a standstill. Besides being a model turned actor, she is also renowned for her enthralling dance moves, an art that she still practises with devotion.
As acting is not her dominant priority, it is mostly during the Eid seasons that she can be seen acting in TV. For the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha, Mou has taken up two different projects. The first one is titled Uro Chiti, which is a seven-episode TV serial, written by Badrul Anam Soud and directed by Arif Khan. It will be aired throughout the week starting from the first day of Eid on Nagorik TV. In it, she will don the role of the eldest daughter in a family, where the lonely father wants to marry against the consent of his other children. However, Rakhi (Mou) sympathises with her father and tries to help him.
The talented artiste will also share the screen in a telefilm titled Jatra Pother Golpo with Afzal Hossain.
