Legendary singer Aretha Franklin today passed away at her home in Detroit, US. She was 76.
The “Queen of Soul” breathed her last at 9:50am. She had been fighting advanced pancreatic cancer.
The fabled singer’s final public performance was in November 2017 in New York.
Franklin’s professional career lasted more than 50 years, and she was notably the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
