IndiGo starts operating flights on Dhaka-Hyderabad route

Indian private airline IndiGo started operating its first flight on Dhaka-Hyderabad route from today.
With 142 passengers on board, the maiden flight left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at around 4:45pm, Md Abdur Rahim, Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Aviation Services Ltd (an enterprise of MGH Group and the General Sales Agent of IndiGo), told The Daily Star.
Initially, IndiGo will operate two flights per week – on Monday and Saturday – on this route.
Round trip fare on the route will cost between Tk 26,000 to Tk 30,000.
The airline will use A321neo with 232 seats – all economy class – to operate flights on this route, Abdur Rahim, added.
IndiGo is also operating two flights per week on Dhaka-Chennai route, three on Dhaka-Delhi route and five on Dhaka-Kolkata route.
