Dengue fever: No death, 224 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least 224 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours until this morning.

Among the 224 new cases, 105 are from outside Dhaka.

With the new hospitalisations, the total number of dengue cases rose to 60,522, this year.

Of them, 22,299 are from outside Dhaka.

So far, 266 people died from dengue this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Around 980 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 457 are from outside Dhaka.
