Dengue fever: 2 dead, 106 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least two dengue patients died while 106 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till this morning.

The total number of deaths has now risen to 278 while the total number of dengue patients rose to 62,127. Of them, 23,028 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A total of 61,402 patients have already been released after treatment. Of them, 22,717 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 447 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of whom 204 are from outside Dhaka.
