Coastal districts, capital Dhaka and most parts of Bangladesh have been experiencing torrential rains owing to the effects of Cyclone Sitrang.

The cyclone will lash in land this evening (October 24, 2022) and its centre will hit around 6am tomorrow (October 25, 2022).

Today, several parts of Bangladesh have been experiencing incessant rainfall as the cyclone closed in on the Bay of Bengal.

The Daily Star has compiled some photos from eight districts of Bangladesh showing the effects of Cyclone Sitrang.
