Nirab unveils surprising transformation for Eid thriller ‘Shironaam’

Dhallywood actor Nirab Hossain is set to captivate audiences this Eid-ul-Azha with his latest film, "Shironaam", directed by Anik Biswas. In this thriller, Nirab portrays the character Ibrahim, a role that demanded a significant transformation, including growing out his hair for authenticity.

The first-look poster reveals Nirab with long hair, dark sunglasses, multiple chains, and a black jacket, presenting a gritty and intense image.

"Shironaam" delves into contemporary societal issues, reflecting the aspirations and challenges of ordinary people. Nirab expressed that the film's narrative is both meaningful and timely, aiming to resonate with audiences seeking compelling storytelling. He emphasised his dedication to the role, stating that he undertook all necessary preparations to bring Ibrahim to life convincingly.

The film features a stellar cast, including Eamin Haque Bobby, Omar Sani, Salahuddin Lavlu, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Kachi Khandakar, Farzana Chobi, and Dilruba Doyel, promising a rich cinematic experience.

"Shironaam" is among ten films slated for release during Eid-ul-Azha, joining titles like "Taandob" (Shakib Khan, Jaya Ahsan), "Insaaf" (Sariful Razz, Tasnia Farin), "Tagar" (Ador Azad, Puja Chery), "Utshob" (Zahid Hasan, Jaya Ahsan), "Neelchakra" (Arifin Shuvoo, Mondera Chakraborty), "Esha Murder: Kormofol" (Azmeri Haque Badhan), "Nadan" (Shamol Mawla, Saima Smriti), "Sardar Barir Khela" (Ziaul Roshan, Bubly), and "Gowar" (Russell Miah, Jolly).

Despite the crowded release schedule, Nirab remains optimistic, believing that "Shironaam's" strong narrative and ensemble cast will attract audiences seeking quality storytelling. He noted that recent trends indicate a growing appreciation for content-driven films, and "Shironaam" aims to meet that demand.
