The "KPop Demon Hunters" soundtrack has set a new milestone on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first soundtrack ever to place four songs in the top 10 simultaneously.

At the top of the chart, "Golden" holds the No 1 spot for a second week, following its dethroning of Alex Warren's Ordinary last week. It's joined by three other tracks from the blockbuster soundtrack: "Your Idol" stays at No 4, "Soda Pop" climbs five places to No 5, and "How It's Done" jumps into the top 10 at No 10.

While previous soundtracks — including "Waiting to Exhale" in the mid-1990s — have produced multiple top 10 singles, none have ever managed to hold four top 10 spots at the same time. Billboard notes that the last soundtrack to achieve three tracks in the top 5 concurrently was Saturday Night Fever in 1978.

"Golden" continues to dominate streaming, topping the Streaming Songs chart for a fifth consecutive week. This week, it also saw a major breakthrough on radio, with airplay climbing 39% to 16.2 million impressions, although it still sits at No 42 on the Radio Songs chart.

Industry analysts suggest that even modest airplay, combined with overwhelming streaming strength, will likely keep the track at No 1 for the foreseeable future.

The surge also comes as "KPop Demon Hunters" enjoyed a boost from theatrical sing-along screenings, which helped push the Netflix film to No  1 at the weekend box office.
