Sinha murder case: Court fixes Nov 10 for hearing petition
A court in Cox's Bazar today fixed November 10 for the next hearing on the revision petition challenging the legality of the Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan murder case filed by his sister Sharmin Shahriar Ferdous.
Mohammad Ismail, Judge of Cox's Bazar District and Session judge's court, passed the order as Mohammad Mostaq Liaqat Ali, Sharmin's lawyer, sought a full hearing.
On October 4, suspended inspector Liaqat Ali, prime accused in Major (retd) Sinha murder case, filed the revision petition with the Cox's Bazar court saying that the Sinha murder case was illegal.
After a primary hearing, the court had fixed today (October 20) for the next hearing, reports our Cox's Bazar correspondent.
Today, Masud Salah Uddin joined the hearing for accused Liaqat Ali, public prosecutor Faridul Alam told our correspondent.
