Narayanganj mosque blast: Another victim dies; death toll now 28

One more person, who suffered severe injuries in the blast at a Narayanganj mosque, died at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery this evening.
Abdul Hannan (50) breathed his last around 6:45pm while undergoing treatment with 85 percent burns, Dr Samanta Lal Sen, coordinator of the burn institute confirmed to The Daily Star.
With him, 28 people have so far died in the tragic incident, said the doctor.
The explosion happened at Pashchim Talla Baitus Salat Mosque of Narayanganj around 8:45pm after Esha prayers on Friday.
There has been widespread allegation that the explosion was caused by gas that leaked from underground pipeline and accumulated inside the ground floor of the mosque.
