A physically challenged man was killed at Rajanagar of Rangunia upazila of Chattogram today.

The deceased was identified as Md Jafor (35), son of Nurucchofa from Dokkin Khondolia village of Rajanagar union of the upazila.

Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Rangunia Police Station, told The Daily Star that police recovered the body under a culvert of Rajanagar kitchen market.

The body bore some deep wounds at head and neck, suggesting it to be murder, he said.

The body was sent for autopsy, he said, adding that they are looking into the matter why and who killed the man.
