Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Foundation announces 2nd essay Competition

Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Foundation is going to organise the 2nd essay competition for the purpose of encouraging research, writing and thinking at all levels of education, according to a press release.  

For the school and college-level students (class 1-12), the topic for the essay competition will be "Bangabandhu's dream and the achievements of Bangladesh" (word limit: 1750-2000); and first, second and third place winners will receive Tk 5,000, 3500 and 2500 respectively. For currently enrolled university level students, the topic will be "The role of students and teachers in the emergence of Bangladesh" (word limit: 2000-2500); and first, second and third place winners will receive Tk 10,000, 7,500 and 5,000 respectively.

The candidate must mention his/her name, educational institution, class or department, mobile number and email. The writing must be academic and follow appropriate format and rules of citation. Language can be Bangla or English. The essays will be graded on research, writing, analysis, organisation and coherence and not on any other factor. The deadline for submission is 18th February, 2021 (no paper will be accepted after 6:00 pm).
