Aga Khan National Council, Mission Save Bangladesh to provide aid to underprivileged communities

The Aga Khan National Council for Bangladesh has announced its partnership, under the Ismaili CIVIC umbrella, with Mission Save Bangladesh initiative to provide emergency support to underprivileged communities.

In keeping with its longstanding tradition of helping those in need, the Ismaili CIVIC today donated to Mission Save Bangladesh to provide underprivileged people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic with meat, rice and vegetables during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, according to a press release issued today.

Ismaili CIVIC is a global initiative to serve humanity, by rendering voluntary service.

This service reflects the Ismaili community's ethic of civic engagement and good citizenship, exemplifying Islam's core values of service, peace, compassion and care for the vulnerable.

Members of the Ismaili community in Bangladesh have been encouraged to contribute to this worthwhile cause in a bid to unite in the efforts to fulfill their civic responsibility to the community.

Mission Save Bangladesh is an initiative launched by Sheba.xyz, The Daily Star and the daily Samakal, to provide support to those in most need of assistance.
