‘Covid-19 vaccine recipients to get telemedicine service’

Secretary of Health Service Division Abdul Mannan today said Covid-19 vaccine recipients will be provided with telemedicine services if side effects show up after administering of vaccines.

However, "No significant side effects are reported after administering Covid-19 vaccines developed by the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca," he told a meeting with journalists at Prime Minister's Office (PMO), an official release said.

Secretary of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division N M Ziaul Alam and Director General of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam, among others, were present at the meeting with Chief Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Zuena Aziz, Secretary in the chair.
