AL MP Abdus Shahid tests positive for Covid-19

Awami League MP and former chief whip of parliament Abdus Shahid tested positive for Covid-19 today.

Abdus Shahid, also chief of the parliamentary standing committee on estimates, was admitted to hospital in Dhaka on Monday night as he felt feverish and had a cough, said Ahad Md Sayed, personal secretary of the MP.

"Today, we came to know that my sir is infected with Covid-19," he added.
