Obituary

Begum Jebunnesa, mother of photographer and political activist Taslima Akhter, died of old-age complications at a hospital in the capital yesterday. She was 80.
Wife of late businessman Shamsul Huda, she left behind four daughters and three sons.
She was buried at her village graveyard in Noakhali.
