Grocery shop robbed in Lalmonirhat

An incident of robbery took place in a grocery shop on Uttra Cinema Road near a police outpost in Lalmonirhat town early yesterday.

The robbers took away six closed-circuit cameras, cash Tk 1 lakh and goods worth about Tk 4 lakh from the Anowar Store in the area.

Mahfuzur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident.

A case was lodged in this connection.

A similar incident took place at Sree Sree Kali Mandir in the town four days ago.
