Gas supply in some Dhaka areas to remain suspended for 6hrs tomorrow

Gas supply will remain suspended in different areas of Dhaka city from 12:00pm to 6:00pm (six hours) tomorrow (Tuesday) for gas pipeline relocation work under Dhaka Elevated Expressway (DEE) project.

The areas include Dhaka Cantonment residential areas, Mohakhali DOHS, Banani (both sides of Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Sarani), and East Nakhalpara, said a press release of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd.

Gas supply to all residential, commercial, industrial consumers and CNG stations in these areas will remain off during the period, said Titas Gas.

The gas pipeline from Banani Railway Station to Mohakhali Bus Terminal will be relocated and tied up with consumers' connection under the DEE project, it added.
