Gas supply in some Dhaka areas remains suspended

Gas supply in some areas of the capital remained suspended from 8:00am today due to relocation work of gas pipelines from Mohakhali Bus Terminal to Moghbazar rail crossing.

The areas are: Tejgaon Railway Station area, Tejkunipara, West Nakhalpara and its adjoining areas, says a press release of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd. Gas supply will remain suspended till 8:00pm tonight, it says.

The relocation work is on to re-establish consumer line under the route alignment of Elevated Expressway.
