BGS observes World Glaucoma Week

Bangladesh Glaucoma Society observed World Glaucoma Week and World Glaucoma Day on March 14 by holding a discussion, a press conference and a rally in the capitals' Dhanmondi.
Prof M Nazrul Islam, BGS president, presided over the discussion where Prof Ava Hossain, Prof Jalal Ahmed, Prof Shahabuddin, Prof Arif Mia, Dr Nazneen Khan, Dr Zakia Sultana and also journalists talked about increasing awareness of glaucoma which is the cause of silent and irreversible blindness.
