21st death anniv of Hasna Hena

Today is the 21st death anniversary of Hasna Hena Qadir, one of the founders of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee.

To mark the day, a milad mahfil will be held at her elder son's residence in the capital, a press release said.

Hasna Hena Qadir was the wife of martyred freedom fighter and intellectual Lt Col Abdul Qadir, who was killed by the Pakistani army during the Liberation War, and the mother of eminent journalist Nadeem Qadir and US-based IT expert Naweed Qadir.
