BNP's Fazlur Rahman dies
Fazlur Rahman Patal, former state minister for youth and sports and BNP chairperson's adviser, breathed his last at Rabindranath Tagore Hospital in West Bengal of India on Thursday.
He was 65. He left behind his wife, two sons and two daughters.
The three-time elected lawmaker from Natore's Lalpur, he also served as state minister for communications during the 1991 tenure of BNP, said sources at BNP chairperson's Gulshan office.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed their deep shock at his death.a
