Singer unveils new refrigerators

Leading home appliance company Singer Bangladesh has introduced a new series of refrigerators with additional features and technologies in response to consumer needs and usage patterns.

The company claimed that the new version equipped with technologies named "Fresh-O-Logy'' and "NutriLock'' will keep fruits and vegetables fresh as well as preserve vitamins for a longer period.

"Singer is proud to introduce innovative new technologies in Bangladesh market," Managing Director and CEO of Singer Bangladesh MHM Fairoz said today at the launch of the refrigerators at the Sheraton Dhaka hotel.

"We are very delighted because these advanced technologies are exclusively developed to support Bangladeshi consumers' needs. Singer is focused to become lifestyle partner of the aspirational consumers with innovative home appliances solutions."

The Fresh-O-Logy technology keeps vegetables and fruits fresh for up to 20 days and the NutriLock technology preserves vitamins (such as vitamin A and C) in fruits and vegetables in the crisper box by simulating the 24 hour sun cycle, according to the officials of the company.

Singer has also brought in the Base Drawer Stand to utilise space efficiently to store dry cooking essentials like onions, potatoes, garlics, gingers and so on.

The refrigerators priced at between Tk 32,990 and Tk 38,490 will run at as low as 135V, therefore, low voltage or voltage fluctuation is not going to trouble the users anymore. These refrigerators do not require additional voltage stabilisers as well.

Singer provides a charcoal odour filter to prevent the mixture of odors inside the refrigerator compartments. The refrigerators also have a unique and stronger bottle holder that can be placed over the shelf to relieve pressure on the fridge door.

The Anti-Bacterial Gasket keeps bacteria out of the refrigerator, and the R600a refrigerant ensures energy efficiency.

Singer has loaded the new series of refrigerator with unprecedented features and technologies which are certified by international quality assurance provider InterTek (UK).

Among others, Marketing Director Chandana Samarasinghe, Sales Director Kazi Rafiqul Islam, Director for Technology and Innovation Hakan Altinisik, General Manager for Corporate Sales Ashgar Hossain, Senior Manager for Product Farhan Azhar were also present.
