ICB Islamic Bank suffers Tk 25.25 crore loss in 2022

ICB Islamic Bank Limited suffered Tk 25.25 crore in the financial year that ended on December 31.

The shariah-based bank incurred a loss of Tk 39.21 crore in 2021, according to a disclosure on the Dhaka Stock Exchange today.

Thus, ICB Islamic Bank reported negative earnings per share of Tk 0.38 for 2022 compared to Tk 0.59 negative a year ago.

The net asset value per share stood at Tk 18.51 negative last year from Tk 18.13 in 2021 while the net operating cash flow per share was Tk 0.88 negative from Tk 0.44 positive during the period.

As the company suffered losses, the board of directors of ICB Islamic Bank recommended no dividend for the year that ended on December 31.
