Brac Bank has signed an agreement with Link3 Technologies Ltd to deploy the bank's payment gateway in online platform of the IT solutions provider.

This will allow Link3 to accept online payment from Visa and MasterCard holders against online product sales and services by using the bank's payment gateway. 

The deal signing ceremony took place at Brac Bank's head office in Dhaka on November 29.

Zahrul Syed Bakht, chief financial officer of Link3, and Mohammad Mohsin Reza, general manager for finance and accounts, attended the event along with Md Mahiul Islam, head of retail banking of Brac Bank; Khairuddin Ahmed, head of merchant acquiring; Md Rashedul Hasan Stalin, head of payments and partnership business; Md Ashraful Alam, senior manager for merchant acquiring; Habibur Rahman, relationship manager of relationship unit 4 for corporate banking; and Md Raihanul Kabir, manager for e-commerce merchant acquiring.
