Dhaka stocks snap gaining streak

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell today breaking the last two days' gaining streak.

The premier bourse in Bangladesh opened higher but soon started to fall.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the DSE, lost 69 points, or 1.13 per cent, to 6,043 at 12:20 pm. Turnover stood at Tk 589 crore.

Of the securities, 25 advanced, 319 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
