Dhaka stocks open week higher

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened higher today, the first trading day of the week.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 100 points, or 1.67 per cent, to 6,080 at 12:00pm. Turnover stood at Tk 213 crore.

Of the securities, 357 advanced, 11 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
