BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today categorically said his party will not accept the result of a rigged election.
He made the statement in his constituency Thakurgaon while addressing a press conference the day before the 11th parliamentary election.
“They will take result in their favour by snatching and robbing and we will accept it but why?” he said in response to a journalist’s query.
Citing the country’s overall scenario, the BNP leader again said that his party would not accept any decision if it is imposed on them forcibly.
Claiming that tomorrow’s election is already a farce, Fakhrul said civil administration and police have set all arrangement to rig the election in a planned way.
He called out to supporters to vote for the “sheaf of paddy”. “Our victory is sure if people can exercise their franchise in a free and fair manner tomorrow.”
