Pentagon celebrates its silver jubilee
Rock – reggae band Pentagon was one of the staples of the 90's music scene. Yesterday, the band celebrated 25 years since its formation in 1993.
The band now boasts a new and talented line-up, with the father-son duo of Md Ali Sumon and Nafius Salam Yani bringing two entirely different generations of musical philosophy together. “I have been receiving many kind wishes from fellow musicians and fans,” says Md Ali Sumon, the frontman of the band, “I am very grateful for them. We are coming up with new releases very soon.” Sumon mentioned that two new tracks -- Boli Shono and Uradhura – are ready for release.
