'Aalochhaya'r Gaanguli'at BSA
Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) and Theatre jointly organised a musical programme featuring Kabyagaan and Manchagaan at the National Art Gallery auditorium of BSA recently.
Renowned Kolkata based music exponent and researcher Dr Devajit Bandyopadhyay and acclaimed singer Riddhi Bandyopadhyay performed several songs composed by Panchokabi (five certain poets), along with numbers from some theatre productions at the event. Their repertoire included a Kazi Nazrul Islam song, Mor Ghum Ghor-e Ele Monohor, and a DL Roy classic, Dhono Dhanno Pushpa Bhora.
Titled as Aalochhaya'r Gaanguli, the programme also included a discussion where eminent cultural personality Ramendu Majumdar and BSA secretary Md Badrul Anam Bhuiyan spoke. BSA director General Liaquat Ali Lucky presided over the programme.
