How did you enter the media world?
Alvee: I entered show biz in 2007 after I came up second in the Lux Channel i Superstar competition. Later, I worked with Mim and Faria in one-hour TV play “Chalo Na Brishtite Bhiji”.
Did your family support you in your career choice?
Alvee: My family supported me all the way. I grew up in a cultural atmosphere as my mother is a dance teacher of Kushtia Shilpakala Academy while my father is secretary of the academy. My parents encouraged me greatly when I was taking part in the Lux Superstar contest.
Have you had a passion for acting since your childhood?
Alvee: I found my true calling as my parents worked in theatre when I was growing up. I worked at our own troupe named Badhon Theatre for a long time. We even staged a play in Dhaka a few years back.
What was the turning point in your career?
Alvee: The play “Patro Mitali” was the turning point. This was my second on screen pair up with Chanchal Chowdhury under the direction of Salahuddin Lavlu.
