2 Bangladeshi migrants shot dead in Athens

Two Bangladeshi migrants have been shot dead in Athens, Greece.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Momin (40) and Shahin Miah (25) of Kamrakhai village in Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj district, reports our Moulvibazar correspondent.

Confirming the incident, Joint General Secretary of Greece Chamber of Commerce and Industries Motabbir Hossain said they had been working as guards there.

One of them was shot in the head while another in the neck by miscreants on September 14.

On information, local police recovered the bodies the following day.

The law enforcers are investigating the murders and the process to send the bodies to the country has started, said Bangladesh Chhatra League President of Greece chapter.
