D-Link Seminar held in Dhaka
With the participation of Internet Service Providers, a seminar has been held with a view to building a strong internet network in the root level. Initiated by D-Link and arranged by Computer Source Ltd., this seminar was held at a Hotel of Gulshan on Tuesday evening. D-Link Bangladesh Country Manager Mr. Biswajit Sutradhor, Vice President of Consulting and Support Department Mr. Raj Jadav, Directors of Computer Source Mr. Asif Mahmud and Mr. Abu Mostofa Chowdhury Sujon were present in this seminar. An interactive discussion session ensued where suggestions and answers were made to the queries of the ISP representatives. Since, D-Link is providing 3 year post sale service; it was also highlighted that Internet Service Providers can benefit their services immensely by availing this unique offer. Moreover, it was stated that with the help of Computer Source's Service Support, it is possible to provide any kind of service solution to the ISPs regarding D-Link products and services.
Imagine Cup Bangladesh 2014 Begins
Imagine Cup Bangladesh 2014 has kicked off for the 4th time in Bangladesh with a bootcamp on February 9, 2014 at American International University – Bangladesh. One of the main speakers of the event was Tech. Evangelist from Microsoft, Mr. Tanzim Saqib. He primarily focused on rules and timeline of the competition as well as team building and recipe for thinking outside the box for innovation. Like previous years, in Imagine Cup 2014 students have three main categories: Games, Innovation and World Citizenship to compete. This competition takes place among 1.65M students in over 190 countries. The local winning teams will compete against them in online semi-finals to qualify for the world finals. Once they advance to the world finals, they will fly to Seattle, home of Microsoft Corporation to compete in the world finals in USA. Mr. Tanzim has also stated in his speech, “Imagine Cup is a very prestigious competition. Here we are, yet another year with Imagine Cup, technical students have the opportunity to wave Bangladeshi flags in the global competitive arena.” Registration for Imagine Cup Bangladesh 2014 ends on March 15.
