Bangladesh's pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman spent this afternoon at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium undergoing a fitness test after having arrived from India late last night. He was seen doing a bunch of exercises under the supervision of Bangladesh Cricket Board’s physio Bayjedul Islam.

The pacer, who got injured during the last stage of the Indian Premier League, upon his return to Dhaka last night said that he was yet to gain full fitness. He also said that he would undergo a fitness test in Mirpur in order to know whether he would be able to participate in the ongoing Dhaka Premier League.

There is also a question of uncertainty regarding his stint with Sussex. He has signed a deal with the English county.

However, it is understood that his joining Sussex will depend upon how well he recovers from the injury.

Aside from the fitness tests, Mustafizur also took the opportunity to meet up with his national colleagues. He met up with the likes of Soumya Sarkar, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and a number of others who were gearing up for their respective Dhaka Premier League matches.

Mustafizur is expected to leave for his hometown this evening.
