Tigresses look for clean sweep
The Bangladesh national women's cricket team will look to keep up their increasingly good performances when they take on Ireland in the final game of a three-match T20I series, which the spirited Tigresses have already won 2-0, at the Malahide Cricket Club Ground in Dublin today.
Salma Khatun and her troops remained in top form since their Women's T20 Asia Cup triumph in Malaysia last month and continued to display some magnificent performances as a unit.
Pacer Jahanara Alam was instrumental with the ball in the earlier two matches, where the right-arm seamer bagged Bangladesh's maiden five-wicket haul in international women's cricket in the first fixture and grabbed another two in the second game on Friday, to help clinch their first bilateral series win.
The series win against Ireland will boost the side's morale ahead of their departure for a ICC World T20 qualifier in Netherlands.
