Pacers working on deficiencies
The pacers talk about working on yorkers and their death over bowling for the upcoming Nidahas Trophy tri-series tournament.
The Tigers bowlers want to make their mark in the upcoming T20I tri-series which also involves India and hosts Sri Lanka and to that end Tigers' bowling coach Courtney Walsh is working on the accuracy of the pace bowlers.
Left-arm pacer Abu Hider Rony confirmed that swing bowling is also something they are working on.
"Courtney [Walsh] is working on swing. How to swing the new ball. Working on yorkers with the old ball. It is easier to survive if you can use the block hole deliveries in T20s," Rony said.
Both Rony and pacer Kamrul Islam Rabbi reiterated that ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is their idol when it comes to pace bowling.
"I learned the off-cutter from Mashrafe Bhai and uses the old and new ball for really good off-cutters. I am learning from him. I think every bowler who gets Mashrafe Bhai tries to learn from him. He is obviously an idol for every pace bowler.
