Sylhet set for Zim Test

Sylhet International Cricket Stadium [SCIS] is set to host its maiden Test match as Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the schedule for the upcoming home series against Zimbabwe yesterday.

The SCIS will become the eighth Test venue of Bangladesh when Bangladesh host Zimbabwe in the first of the two match Test series, starting from November 3. The second Test is scheduled to start on November 11 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

The visitors, however, will begin the tour with a practice game on November 19, followed by three ODIs, first of which will take place on October 21 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. The second and third ODIs will be played in Chittagong on October 24 and 26 respectively. All the matches of the ODI series will be day-night affairs.
