LOOK OUT FOR

Raja’s Risky Risky

British born Asian singer and songwriter, Raja Kaasheff and his wife, singer Rubayyat Jahan are all set to release two new music videos this Eid. The songs have been composed by Raja Kaasheff himself and written by Sudip Kumar Dip. The songs have been sung by Rubayyat Jahan and she will also be featured in the music videos alongside actor Shiblee Noman. This is the first time they are shooting music videos in Bangladesh. Regarding this Kaasheff said, “I have faith in the technicians and directors of Bangladesh. They are making some amazing videos. Shaikat Nasir is the director, and the first video that we have shot is titled, Risky Risky Chahoni Dila. The song is going to have a comedic approach and there will be the early 80s flavour in the choreography. The dresses are similar to the 80s theme to bring out the cultural vibe.” He added, “To honor and pay tribute to the legendary music composer Robin Ghosh, the second song is called, Ami Rupnogorer Rajkonna. Risky Risky is completed and shooting for the other one commenced on May 06. The music compositions are acoustic based with some new live instruments that haven’t been used in Bangladeshi music scene before.” Other than that, Raja Kaasheff has done five songs as a music arranger for the legendary songstress, Runa Laila. He has also worked with noted artists like Moniruzzaman Monir, Gazi Mazharul Anwar and Kabir Bokul. Raja also mentioned, “I would love to collaborate with more artists and musicians, especially some senior musicians such as Bappa Sir, who is a huge inspiration and also because I like his style of music. I would like to thank the Almighty for giving me this opportunity to fulfil my dreams.”
