Covid-19: BracU to continue financial assistance

Brac University (BracU) is going to continue financially assisting its students for another semester (fall 2021).

BracU is continuing to financially support its students for the fifth consecutive semester during the pandemic, said a university statement yesterday.

The university will also offer instalment options for students who have been affected by the pandemic.

This initiative started last year, as a response to the Covid-19 crisis, it added.

Considering the Covid-19 situation and its socio-economic impact, BracU Vice Chancellor Prof Vincent Chang announced the decision. "We are committed to keep the students at the centre of all our initiatives, and we shall do the best in our capacity to support our students in this challenging situation," said Chang.

Brac University has already provided a total of Tk 93 crore as financial assistance and scholarship to students over the last four semesters.
