Farah Ruma:
Mother Teresa.
Bornil, Dhaka: Do you have any plans to do something for the underprivileged?

Lucky, Uttara, Dhaka: It feels great to be talking to you. How are you feeling?
Farah Ruma:
The fans are everything to an artiste. I came to The Daily Star to talk to my admirers. I won't lie to you; it feels great to talk to you as well. I don't usually get the chance to talk to my fans like this. Thanks to The Daily Star for this opportunity.
Sumon, Tangail: When is your birthday and what is your zodiac sign?
Farah Ruma:
My birthday is on March 26 and I am an Aries.
Kamal Parvez, Saudi Arabia: I enjoy watching you in “Mayanigom” aired by ntv. Will you tell me something about this drama?
Farah Ruma:
Thank you for watching “Mayanigom” from so far away. Please watch more of our dramas. The story of the drama surrounds a lower-middle income family. I'm getting a lot of responses since it began airing. Mahfuz Ahmed is acting opposite me; the director is Golam Mostafa Shimul.
Sajidul Mahmud, Residential College, Dhaka: What projects are you doing now?
Farah Ruma:
I'm currently busy with Eid dramas. I have shooting almost everyday. I'm also working on serials, but taking on no new projects as I have already made commitments for Eid plays.
Ahsan Habib, Rajshahi: Can we expect any different characters from you soon?
Farah Ruma:
I'm playing a unique role in ntv's “Mayanigom” at the moment. I'm also doing Debashish Barua Dwip's new serial “Chaar Konya”. You will also see a different kind of character in this drama. However, the most unique role I'm doing is in Ohiduzzaman Diamond's serial “Omimangshito Golpo”, where I'll be playing the character of Oshoriri.
Shamim Ahmed, Sylhet: I read in the papers that you underwent a surgery recently.
Farah Ruma:
It is true. I had an operation in Bangkok. But I'm completely fine now.

Farah Ruma:
Not only in media, but to achieve success in any sector -- you have work very hard. Honesty must be maintained. No matter how big or small the project is, one has to love one's work and not lose patience. Those following these will achieve success eventually.
Tarek Ananda, Jamalpur: I heard that you are acting in a new film?
Farah Ruma:
You heard right. Its called “Putro Ekhon Paisawala”, directed by Nargis Akhter. It's a movie on a social context waiting to be released soon. Please go to the cinema hall to watch the movie.

If I'm at home, I chat with my sisters. If it's possible, then I also go up to the roof to enjoy the rain sometimes. I love to have khichuri on a rainy day. But if I'm upset on a rainy day, the rain only intensifies the sadness. However, I always like the rain.
Nawrin, Dhaka: What gifts do you like to give to your close ones?
Farah Ruma:
I prefer to give gifts that no one else had given to that person. I like to keep an element of surprise.

Farah Ruma:
Yes. Once we were hit by a storm while shooting in China. We couldn't even get a train due to the storm. I was very scared. But thanks to God, we came out unharmed.
Munmun, Dhaka: Can you dance?
Farah Ruma:
Yes I can. I took dancing lessons when I was a child.
Anisul Haq Khokon, Gazipur: When do you plan to tie the knot?
Farah Ruma:
When God wants me to.
Konkon, Dhaka: What is your definition of beauty?
Farah Ruma:
I don't consider physical beauty to be the true beauty. You also need to have a beautiful mind. If a person is beautiful inside, that is his/her true beauty.
