Union Capital picks new chairman

Chowdhury Tanzim Karim has recently been elected as the chairman of Union Capital Ltd, the company said in a statement yesterday. A Barrister-at-Law, Karim is a practising lawyer specialising in company, commercial, banking and securities law. He is also the head of chamber at CT Karim & Partners, a Dhaka-based law firm primarily engaged in dealing with civil matters. Karim was called to the Bar of England and Wales from the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn.
