Semis after WC qualifier against Lebanon

The two semifinals and the final of the Super Cup has been deferred to make room for Bangladesh national team's practice for their upcoming World Cup Pre-Qualifiers against Lebanon, it was decided at an organizing committee meeting yesterday. The league phase ends today with the match between Muktijoddha and Sheikh Russell.
“We have requested the clubs to consider the national team's interests as we have a bright chance to move ahead, the national coach also asked the federation to give him some time to get ready for the challenges, and the clubs responded to the plea,” said Harunur Rashid, the chairman of the tournament committee.
Bangladesh play away to Lebanon on July 23 and host them on July 28.
The practice of the national team will commence on Friday.
Meanwhile, eight more booters, including 4 new faces, have been called to the national team for Bangladesh's World Cup pre-qualifying matches against Lebanon by the Macedonian coach Nikola Ilievski on Tuesday.
Of those eight, Mohammad Sujan, defender Wali Faisal, midfielder Faisal Mahmood and goalkeeper Ziaur Rahman are those recalled while youngster Shafiqul Islam Bipul, Touhidul Islam, Abdul Hamid Sheikh Vashani and Shariful Islam have been called up for the first time.
National Team Management Committee chairman Badal Roy informed that these eight booters will join the previous 23-member squad which was declared for the Pakistan matches.
Bangladesh are scheduled to leave for Lebanon on July 20 for the away match on July 23 before hosting them at home on July 28.
